About The Area: Ahangama and Kabalana

Where Are The Nivasa Villas and Houses?

The Nivasa is a collection of Villas and Houses in Ahangama and Kabalana: 2 bustling little fishing villages, next to each other, on the South West Coast of Sri Lanka, about 2.5 hours drive from the international airport.

Over the last few years Ahangama and Kabalana have slowly grown – attracting tourists from around the globe with its range of amazing surf spots and also those looking for something a bit quieter and more chilled than spots like Weligama.

The best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from late October to early May, with December to March being peak season.

From Ahangama and Kabalana it’s an easy tuktuk journey to other destinations along the coast such as Weligama Beach, Galle, Mirissa and even Hiriketiya.

You can even take a day trip to the National Parks and spend the day looking out for leopards, elephants and bears!

So whether you’re looking to spend heaps of time surfing, or just want to relax in your own slice of paradise Ahangama and Kabalana are a great base for your Sri Lanka adventure, no matter what you want to get up to.
